IT Change Management App
This Power App is used by an IT team to manage all change management requests for an international business with BU’s spread across multiple continents.
When submitting a Change Request, end users can add another option to an existing list of options displayed in the dropdown list. The dropdown list items are connected to a SharePoint List column.
Once submitted, a Power Automate cloud flow routes the request for approval to the IT Manager. Who receives the notification via MS Teams and Email.
This app is also used to manage and review all existing and completed change requests, giving the IT team full lifecycle visibility from submission to approval.
IT Equipment Assignment App
When new staff are onboarded, they are assigned one or more devices. The IT team need to install specific software onto those devices, as well as create a tenant account for that person. This Power App is used to manage that process from start to finish.
By implementing variables that determine the visibility of the input boxes displayed, this application allows the IT support staff to fill in all the required data for a new starter on a single screen. Thus reducing the number of steps required for completing the task.
The app also pulls data in from multiple SharePoint Lists, and then correctly updates individual record values in multiple SharePoint Lists.
